How does HOLOFIT VR work?


HOLOFIT VR fitness is an app on your VR headset or phone that connects to your fitness machine via FTMS Bluetooth. FTMS and that is how your movements are tracked in virtual reality. If your bike or elliptical machine don’t have FTMS, you can add our cadence sensor to enable connectivity. HOLOFIT Membership gives you access to all current and future content and features. There is also a HOLOFIT Companion app that tracks all your workout efforts and has rankings in ypur country and world.




What do I need to have for HOLOFIT?


Plug & play, HOLOFIT Go is simple. It consists of the following:

  • Standalone headset with the Holofit software
  • Fitness machine
  • Depending on your fitness machine, you might also need to get a bluetooth sensor.
Bluetooth Sensor For example, WaterRowers have no connectivity feature on their own. In case you have one, you’d have to get the SmartRow addon to be able to connect HOLOFIT Go to the machine. HOLOFIT can be used with following bluetooth cadence sensors: IGPSport C61 Garmin 2 Gemini 210 S3+ Wahoo cadence sensor




Which fitness machines are compatible with HOLOFIT?


Rowing machines:

  • Concept 2
  • WaterRower with SmatRow
  • TechnoGym SkillRow
  • StairMaster HIIT Rower
  • Domyos
  • FTMS-Bluetooth enabled rowing machines
Bicycles, ellipticals:
  • Any bike or elliptical with the additional cadence sensor
  • FTMS-Bluetooth enabled bike or elliptical
HOLOFIT can be used with following bluetooth cadence sensors: -
IGP Sport C61 - Garmin 2 - Gemini 210 S3+ - Wahoo cadence sensor




What about headset hygiene, do you have a solution for that?


Yes, we use washable VR covers on all headsets that should be wiped after each use. Using regular wipes is enough.
We also provide extra VR covers, for replacement when needed. You can get the VR covers here




What kind of support do you provide?


Full remote online support for any troubleshooting issues you might have. Our support staff is available 24/7 and we respond to all your inquiries and requests within very short time.




I wear glasses, can I use HOLOFIT VR?


Yes! Customizable lens adapters are available for a variety of VR headsets at a reasonable price add-on. This would help solve the problem concerning shortsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Keep in mind that astigmatism could also somewhat be solved by adjusting the eye separation for which there is a small switch on the bottom right of the VR headset. However, as the most complete solution, we suggest getting optical lens adapters according to your detailed optical prescription.




What if I have a tethered (PC) VR headset?


HOLOFIT works with the following tethered VR headsets:

What if I have my own headset?


Great, you only need to subscribe to HOLOFIT subscription with us and install it on your VR headset. The following are compatible – Standalone VR Headsets:

Who made Holofit?
